Your Holiness,

In light of the relentless and admirable efforts undertaken by Your Holiness to reconcile people of all faiths and promote a better world for future generations, we wish to express our profound concern regarding potential issues that might be addressed during Your upcoming visit to Armenia, including misleading efforts by Armenian authorities to justify their illegal occupation of Nagorno-Karabakh and other adjacent Azerbaijani territories.

White House administration responded to ACSDA petition: The occupied territories should be returned to the control of Azerbaijan

Elxan Süleymanov

BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 11, 2016.

On June 10, 2016, the U.S. White House administration answered officially to the petition, which demands the withdrawal of Armenian troops that are occupying 20% of Azerbaijani territory and emphasizes the dramatic situation of hundreds of thousands of citizens threatened by a humanitarian catastrophe because of neglected Sarsang dam.

ACSDA President, MP Elkhan Suleymanov spoke about the prospects of the petition on “Establish justice and prevent a great catastrophe” initiated by his Association.

Against the background of long-term and ongoing global political pressure to our country by power states and international organizations, I seriously question an objective response by the US to ACSDA’s petition.
