Azerbaijan has taken a unilateral decision to cease retaliatory action against the Armenian armed forces.

“In the light of persistent calls from international organizations and given the fact that the government of Azerbaijan is pursuing a peaceful policy, the Azerbaijani armed forces took a unilateral decision to stop counter-attacks and retaliatory action against the enemy in the occupied territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan,” the ministry of defense said in a statement. “The armed forces decided to launch defensive measures in the retaken territories and areas.”

Azerbaijani army eliminates about 15 Armenian saboteurs

cebheAzerbaijani armed forces have prevented another sabotage attempt of Armenian armed forces, by eliminating around 15 saboteurs and military equipment, Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry told APA on March 11.

 

Armenian sabotage attempt was prevented on the contact line of Azerbaijani and Armenian armies in the direction of Azerbaijan’s Aghdam district, said the ministry.

Azerbaijani armed forces will immediately prevent any sabotage attempt of Armenian armed forces in the future as well, the defense ministry warned.

Armenia violates ceasefire 64 times throughout day

Armenian Armed Forces violated ceasefire with Azerbaijan 64 times in various directions along the frontline from various heavy machine guns throughout the day on February 1, APA reported quoting the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry as saying.
