Chr. eines der m\u00e4chtigsten Staaten im Alten Orient war, umfasste die Gegend am Urmiasee, mehrere Teile des Flussgebiets Gisil\u00fcsan und s\u00fcdliche Gebiete. Mitte 7. Jahrhunderts v. Chr. wurde das Reich Manna schw\u00e4cher und im Jahre 590 v. Chr. von Mada erobert.
