The article says that violations of the ceasefire during the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict have escalated since early 2014.<!--more--> It says that the Foreign Affairs Ministry has responded to a query of the Left-wing fraction of the Bundestag to the Federal Government. The response #18\/2816 of the Federal Government to the query #18\/2728 sent by the Left-wing fraction says: \u201cNagorno-Karabakh is an integral part of Azerbaijan in accordance with t international law; however, it is under control of the Armenian Armed Forces.\u201d The letter of response pointed out the clashes on the line of contact came to a boil in late July and early August and then de-escalated. \u201cSnipers, submachine guns, as well as other infantry weapons were most used during the firefights\u201d.
