American polling firm Arthur J. Finkelstein & Associates conducted an opinion survey among 1,200 voting-age citizens between April 23-29, 2016 in Azerbaijan.<\/b><\/div>\n

The respondents were asked questions about the recent escalation along the line of contact between the country\u2019s and Armenian troops, the current situation in the country and the work done by the country\u2019s president.<\/p>\n

Below are the questions and answers from the survey:<\/p>\n

What is the foremost problem faced by our country today?<\/strong><\/p>\n

81.5% of respondents answered the Nagorno-Karabakh <\/a>problem<\/p>\n

And what is the foremost problem faced by your family?<\/strong><\/p>\n

56.3% of respondents answered the Nagorno-Karabakh <\/a>problem<\/p>\n

Do you trust the Azerbaijani president?<\/strong><\/p>\n

96.8% of respondents answered \u201cYes\u201d, 0.3% – \u201cNo\u201d<\/p>\n

How do you assess President Ilham Aliyev<\/a>\u2019s efforts?<\/strong><\/p>\n

96% of respondents answered \u201cExcellent \/ Good\u201d, 2.4% – \u201cFair \/ Poor\u201d<\/p>\n

Do you think the country\u2019s leadership is succeeding in defending the country against Armenian aggressors?<\/strong><\/p>\n

96.3% of respondents answered \u201cYes\u201d, 1.3% – \u201cNo\u201d.<\/p>\n

How do you assess the efficiency of the Azerbaijani government\u2019s military response to Armenian provocations in Nagorno-Karabakh <\/a>and other occupied territories?<\/strong><\/p>\n

97.3% of respondents answered “Excellent \/ Good”, 1.7% – “Fair \/ Poor.”<\/p>\n

Do you feel more patriotic after the latest clashes in the occupied Azerbaijani territories or not?<\/strong><\/p>\n

97.3% of respondents answered \u201cMore patriotic\u201d, 0.1% – \u201cLess patriotic\u201d<\/p>\n

Do you support the use of all possible means including military force in defending protecting the country against Armenian occupation?<\/strong><\/p>\n

97.4% of respondents answered “Yes”, 1.7% – “No”<\/p>\n

Do you consider efficient the policy of the Azerbaijani president and government?<\/strong><\/p>\n

84.4% of respondents answered “Yes”, 6.7% – “No”.<\/p>\n

Do you believe that the economic reforms conducted in the country will reduce the effects of the global economic crisis?<\/strong><\/p>\n

78.1% of respondents answered “Yes”, 7.9% – “No”.<\/p>\n

How do you assess the level of social stability in Azerbaijan?<\/strong><\/p>\n

91.4% of respondents answered “Highly” 6.6% – “Fair”, 0.8% – “Low”.<\/p>\n

How do you assess the anti-corruption measures being taken in Azerbaijan?<\/strong><\/p>\n

50.9% of respondents answered “Excellent \/ Good”, 31.8% – “Fair”, 7.5% – “Low”.<\/p>\n
