Ensuring stability in the South Caucasus is a priority for NATO<\/a>, the President of the NATO<\/a>Parliamentary Assembly Paolo Alli said at a meeting with Georgian Parliament Speaker Irakli Kobakhidze.<\/p>\n

The meeting was held as part of the NATO<\/a> PA spring session that kicks off in Georgia\u2019s capital on Friday.<\/p>\n

Reaffirming NATO<\/a>\u2019s support for Georgia\u2019s Euro-Atlantic integration, Paolo Alli hailed Georgia\u2019s important role in both regional and global security issues, an APA<\/a> correspondent reported from Tbilisi.<\/p>\n

Following the meeting, Kobakhidze told reporters that integration into Euro-Atlantic structures is one of Georgia\u2019s priorities, expressing confidence that the fact that the NATO<\/a> PA spring session is taking palce in Tbilisi will accelerate this process.<\/p>\n

Paolo Alli, in turn, outlined the importance of issues to be discussed at the NATO<\/a> PA, noting that the documents and recommendations will be important for all countries.<\/p>\n
