Armenian Armed Forces violated ceasefire with Azerbaijan 53 times in various directions by heavy machine guns, mortars and grenade launchers throughout the day on 18 January, APA quoted Azerbaijani Defense Ministry as saying.

According to the report, Armenian armed units fired on the positions of Azerbaijani Armed Forces located in Gizilhajili village of Gazakh region and Kohnegishlag village of Agstafa region from the positions located in Berkaber and Paravakar villages of Armenia’s Ijevan region and our positions in nameless uplands and Kemerli, Gaymagli villages of Gazakh region from the positions located in Barekamavan, Dovekh and Berdavan villges of Noyemberyan region.

The Azerbaijani positions also underwent fire from the positions near Goyarkh, Chilaburt villages of Terter, Yusifjanli, Shikhlar, Kengerli, Javahirli, Merzili, Sarijali, Garagashli villages ofAghdam, Kuropatkino village of Khojavand, Horadiz, Garakhanbeyli, Ashagi Veyselli villages ofFuzuli, Mehdili village of Jabrayil region and nameless uplands of Fuzuli and Jabrayil regions.

The enemy was silenced by retaliatory fire.
