The situation on the contact line between Azerbaijan and Armenia has remained tense as the Armenian Armed Forces shattered ceasefire a total of 120 times throughout the day, Azerbaijan`s Defense Ministry said.

Armenian military used 60mm mortar launcher and large caliber machine guns to shell Azerbaijani positions.

Armenian armed units located in the villages of Paravakar, Berkaber of Armenia’s Ijevan district fired at the positions of Azerbaijani armed forces located in the Kohnegishlag village of the Aghstafa district, and on nameless heights and in the Gizilhajili village of the Gazakh district.

Armenian army opened fire from positions near the villages of Yarimja, Goyarkh of the Tartar district, Shikhlar, Bash Gervend, Javahirli, Sarijali, Kangarli, Novruzlu, the Aghdam district, Kuropatkino of the Khojavend district, Garakhanbeyli, Horadiz, Gorgan, Ashagi Seyidahmadli of the Fuzuli district, Mehdili of the Jabrayil district, as well as on nameless heights in the districts of Goygol, Goranboy, Khojavend, Fuzuli and Jabrayil.

In view of the operational situation, Azerbaijani armed forces inflicted 126 strikes on Armenian positions.
