The Caspian Sea littoral states will hold a series of military exercises in 2015.
The naval forces of Russia, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan will take part in the trilateral exercises, APA reports citing RIA Novosti.
Moreover, the Azerbaijani and Russian naval forces will hold bilateral exercises. Russia’s South-Eastern Administrative Okrug said the country’s small missile ships Buyan and Buyan-M will participate in the exercises. These ships are designed to protect Russia’s economic zone.
Note that, Buyan and Buyan-M ships will join international exercises for the first time.
