OSCE Minsk Group’s US co-chair James Warlick says the meetings between the presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia “bring us closer to a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.”

According to Azerbaijan’s Armed Forces readiness plan for 2016, an operational-tactical exercise that started on June 19 is being continued.

Uzbek Ziyouz.uz portal has published an article on Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict on the initiative of Azerbaijani Embassy in Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan Culture Center named after Heydar Aliyev.

Armenian “diplomats” are desperately trying to mount their own way to interpret international law, legal documents adopted by the international community and to show the world the absurdity of their claims, Hikmet Hajiyev, spokesperson for Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry, told Trend June 10.

In accordance with the mandate of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, the OSCE mission has conducted a monitoring on the contact line of troops in the east of Kuropatkino village of Azerbaijan`s Khojavand region.The monitoring ended without an incident.According to the press service of Azerbaijan`s Defense Ministry, the monitoring was held, on the Azerbaijani side, by field assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Hristo Hristov and Peter Svedberg.

On the opposite side, the monitoring was conducted by field assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Simon Tiller and Jiri Aberle.

In accordance with its mandate, the Office of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office plans to conduct the next ceasefire monitoring exercise on the LOC, east of the village Kuropatkino, in Khojavend region of the Republic of Azerbaijan on June 8, 2016.
The monitoring on the territory controlled by Azerbaijani Armed Forces will be conducted by field assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Hristo Hristov and Peter Svedberg.
