“Two Armenian drones have today been shot down,” Azerbaijan`s Defense Ministry has toldAZERTAC.

“The Armenian armed forces’ X-55 drone was brought down by the Azerbaijani units by a special method when it was performing intelligence gathering operations over our positions on the frontline,” the Ministry said. “The second drone was mistakenly taken down by Armenians themselves.”

The Ministry commented on the Armenian media allegations that a drone of the Azerbaijani armed forces was shot down.

“All drones at the Azerbaijani armed forces’ disposal are intact. The Armenian units have today wrongly shot down their own drone and want to distract attention from reality by spreading such false news,” the Ministry added.
