On December 29, in the morning the Armenian Armed Forces’ reconnaissance team has run into an ambush during violations of the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border.
During the clashes, the enemy suffered great losses and was forced to retreat.

As a result of battle, a soldier of Azerbaijani Army Gurbanov Chingiz Salman oglu is missing. The soldier is being searched.
Apparently, Armenia is not satisfied of the relative calm existing on the frontline in recent times, and therefore the enemy periodically and purposefully carries out such provocations.
Ministry of Defence declares that if the enemy will continue such actions in the future, then it would suffer more heavy losses.
