First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva has met with President of the National Assembly of France Richard Ferrand.

Mehriban Aliyeva met with the head of the France-Azerbaijan Friendship Group and advisers.
First Vice-President of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva then had a meeting with President of the National Assembly of France Richard Ferrand.
The development of Azerbaijan-France relations was hailed at the meeting.
Richard Ferrand expressed his country’s keenness to develop interparliamentary ties between the two countries. He emphasized the importance of French MPs’ visits to Azerbaijan for raising awareness of France about the country which has a rich history and culture.
First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva noted the significance of interparliamentary ties in the development of bilateral relations. She also hailed the importance of reciprocal visits. Mehriban Aliyeva noted that such kind of meetings create good opportunity for raising the French community’s awareness about Azerbaijan, and delivering Azerbaijani realities to them.
The First Vice-President pointed out the beautiful synthesis of history and modernity in Azerbaijan, the country which is loyal to national values.
