According to official website of the Ministry, the meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Abid Sharifov, Ministers of Defense Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, Defense Industry Yaver Jamalov, Finance Samir Sharifov, Communication and High Technologies Ali Abbasov, Chairman of State Land and Cartography Committee Garib Mammadov, deputies of defense ministers and other officials.

Modernization of combat vehicles and weapons and ammunition, as well as supplying army with modern, high-accuracy, long-range weapons, new technologies, life condition of servicemen and other issues were discussed at the meeting held on fulfillment of outcomes of the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers dedicated to the results of socioeconomic development in nine months of 2014 and objectives for the future held under chairmanship of President Ilham Aliyev, and execution of tasks for development of the army.
