Today there was an opening ceremony for a photo-exhibition named “Live long, the soldier of Azerbaijan” to mark the anniversary of the Day of Armed Forces of Azerbaijan Republic jointly organized by Heydar Aliyev Heritage Research Center (www.aliyevheritage.org) and mobile gallery of 1905.az. The ceremony took place at Heydar Aliyev Center situated in Yasamal District. Right before the opening, participants laid a wreath in front of monument to National Leader Heydar Aliyev. In her openning reamrks, the head of the Heydar Aliyev Center in Yasamal District, Namine Omerova, greeted all guests. Among the guests were intellectuals, militaries, media members and officials from the Executive Office of Yasamal District. Fuad Babayev, the director of Heydar Aliyev’s Heritage Research Center and doctor of philosophy in political sciences, has expressed his gratefulness to guests and informed about the activity of the Center that he is leading.

The author of the photos presented in the exhibition, Rafiq Bagirov, was the private photographer of great Heydar Aliyev (in ten years) and now serves as a senior adviser at the Presidential Press Service. In addition, the author shared his memories related to the national leader. Director of Azerbaijan Photographers’ Union Mirnaib Hasanoglu talked about the importance of photos in the promotion of military-patriotic spirit.Following the official opening ceremony, participants were presented a chance to look nearer on exhibition.

It is worth to note, exhibition will be open by the end of this week, in the Heydar Aliyev Center situated in Yasamal District.
