The co-rapporteurs for Azerbaijan by the Monitoring Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Stefan Schennach and Cezar Florin Preda arrived in Azerbaijan on a three-day visit.

Council of Europe office in Baku told APA that the co-rapporteurs will meet with Azerbaijani President, Speaker of Parliament, Minister of Justice, members of the Azerbaijani delegation to PACE, the Supreme Court’s chairman, chief of the State Security Service and Ombudsman.

Stefan Schennach and Cezar Florin Preda will also meet with members of civil society, a group of former prisoners and imprisoned persons and members of the parties not represented in parliament.
