President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has met with Chief Executive Officer of BP Robert Dudley in Davos.

It was noted that the TANAP project had already been put into operation and that TAP would be ready by the end of this year.

 

A new project on the next stage of development of the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli block was discussed. President Ilham Aliyev described it as a very important project.

 

The head of state noted that Baku would host the Ministerial Meeting of the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council this February.

 

Robert Dudley said that BP would attach greater importance to environmental protection in its activities.
