President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received Chairman of the Board of Directors of King Faisal Centre for Research and Islamic Studies of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Turki Al-Faisal.

The chairman of the Board of Directors of King Faisal Centre for Research and Islamic Studies thanked for the reception. Stressing the importance of the 7th Global Baku Forum, Turki Al-Faisal said he is pleased to participate in the event. He said the forum occupies a special place in international cooperation. The chairman described the organization of the Forum in Baku as a good choice, adding that the capital of Azerbaijan is a very beautiful venue, which combines both ancient and modern architecture.

 

Underlining the importance of the 7th Global Baku Forum, President Ilham Aliyev emphasized the fact that the Forum expanded its activities to grow into a major international event. Recalling his meetings with Turki Al-Faisal, the head of state noted that they featured fruitful discussions.

 

They pointed out that friendly relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are developing successfully in a variety of fields, and stressed the significance of the two countries` mutual support within international organizations.
