The Azerbaijani armed forces tracked down and destroyed an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), belonging to the Armenian armed forces, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said in a message on November 27.

According to the message, the UAV was destroyed on the line of contact between the Azerbaijani and Armenian troops in the direction of Azerbaijan’s Fizuli district November 26 evening.

On November 15, serviceman of Azerbaijan’s Armed Forces Melikov Agil Gismet oglu is killed while on duty by the enemy bullet.
According to the order of the Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, serviceman, who died as a result of another provocation of Armenia, is presented for the award of the medal “For distinction in military service” 3rd degree posthumously.

In accordance with the mandate of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, the OSCE mission has today conducted a monitoring on the line of contact of troops in Azerbaijan`s Tartar region.
