Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov moderated a panel within the 4th Baku International Humanitarian Forum, APA reports. Former Croatian President Stjepan Mesic noted that the principles of Yalta Conference don’t work anymore.

“We should prevent the Third World War. The main goal of the united Europe is to prevent a new war. The Helsinki principles should be based on and inviolability of borders should play a major role in ensuring trust between the East and West” he said.
Vytautas Landsbergis, the former Lithuanian President, said Azerbaijan is often criticized for governance, but they fail to consider that Azerbaijan’s territories have been invaded, Azerbaijan demonstrates an exemplary cooperation with Europe and it has been a positive example many times: “Therefore, it is necessary ramp up efforts in order to prevent the military conflict. Azerbaijan has a lot of positive contributions; it’s trying for energy security of Europe and plays a key part in relation with the Islamic world. I believe Azerbaijan will demonstrate many examples.”
