A draft resolution on so-called “Armenian genocide”, adopted in the United States Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, has not been included in the agenda of the general meeting of the Senate.
APA reports quoting Sabah newspaper that the draft resolution # 410 was not on the agenda of last meeting of the Senate held before the Easter Holidays. Thus, the document that had to be discussed on April 24, has become an insignificant piece of paper.
The draft resolution has been submitted by pro-Armenian senators Robert Menendez and Mark Kirk and adopted by majority vote.
