Azerbaijan`s Parliament Speaker Ogtay Asadov has met Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Pedro Agramunt on the sidelines of the Plenary Session of the Inter-parliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States (IPA CIS) in St Petersburg.

“It seems that international organizations, the OSCE Minsk Group are just trying to ensure safety of the separatist regime in Nagorno-Karabakh,” said Azerbaijani President’s Assistant for Public and Political Affairs Ali Hasanov as he responded to a question from AZERTAC’s correspondent on the situation on the line of contact between the Azerbaijani and Armenian troops.

For over 20 years, Armenia hasn’t been fulfilling the four UN resolutions adopted on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, said Ali Hasanov, the Azerbaijani president’s aide for public and political affairs.

Turkey’s NTV channel has broadcast a reportage from the lands, the Azerbaijani armed forces liberated from Armenian occupation in early April.
